Kicking your Coloring Up a Notch with If Friends Were Flowers

Hello crafters!  Courtney here and I have had a blast being a guest designer for LDRS Creative during the past 2 months. For my final project, I pulled out the If Friends Were Flowers stamp and die set again.

I did a bit of masking to make the in order to fit more flowers and leaves into my floral arrangement.Next, I colored the images with my alcohol markers.  And while this can be beautiful, I decided to add a bit more contrast by bringing in my colored pencils.  I went over the darkest areas with a light hand just to deepen up my shadows.For the assembly of the card I cut out a semi circle around my image  as well as a piece of black card stock. (I traced my roll of foam tape).  I layered those onto the lower right hand corner and added my sentiments using the dies from the set. That’s it for this one.  Thanks so much for stopping by and have a creative and crafty day!-Courtney
