It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas!

Hello and welcome back to the inspiration blog.  It's been a while since I've made a square card and today is the day!  I am using the Nested Postage Collage Dies, the Season's Greetings Postage Collage Stamp Set and the Season's Greetings Postage Collage Layering Stencils for todays card, along with a sentiment from the Gift Card Greetings Stamp Set.

I am starting with a white card panel cut to 4.75" x 4.75".  This will be mounted on a card base measuring 10" x 5" and scored at 5" to fold.  I began by stenciling two of the images from the Layering Stencils on opposing corners of the card panel.  I chose to stencil them in identical colors, but you can certainly change up the colors and have each corner in different color variations.  I used the following inks in my stenciling:  Kiss Me Red, Bali Blue, Evergreen, Olive Branch, Iced Tea, and Little Boy Blue.

Next, I stamped one of the postage images from the Season's Greetings Postage Collage Stamp Set in Raven ink on white card stock.  I colored the image with alcohol ink in an ombre' effect.  I then restamped the image in Raven ink to intensify the stamped image and die cut using the Nested Postage Collage Dies.

I layered the die cut image on red cardstock and added it to the card panel using a foam square.  I then stamped the sentiment in Raven ink as well.  The LDRS hybrid inks stamp very crisply!

To finish off the card, I mounted the card panel to a red 5"x5" card base and added a few sparkly enamel dots.  I personally like clean & simple cards and so this is right up my alley.  If you like a little more visual interest, you can add additional stamped images from the Postage Collage stamp set.  There are many cute images to choose from!

I hope you find time to get crafty today!  Crafty hugs, LeeAnn
